The Entire Night Sky by Nick Risinger
This composite of more than 37,000 different exposures shows the entire night sky. He traveled more than 60,000 miles by air and land and spent more than a year to produce the photo.

Rad wood Xylophone
A new commercial for NTT Docomo’s Touch Wood SH-08C wooden-encased phone, created by Morihiro Harano of Drill Inc. The video follows a small wooden ball that traverses a sloped xylophone “track”, relying only on the force of gravity to gradually play Bach’s Cantata 147. If only more advertising was this brilliant. (via spoon and tamago)

I tried this...it was amazing.

Amazing 1474 megapixel photo
I normally don't like to share stuff my Dad sends, but this incredible.
This is a photograph of 2009 Obama Inauguration. You can see IN FOCUS the face of EACH individual in the crowd!
You can scan and zoom to any section of the crowd. . . wait a few seconds. . double click anywhere . and the focus adjusts to give you a very identifiable close up. The picture was taken with a robotic 1474 megapixel camera (295 times the standard 5 megapixel camera). Every one attending could be scanned after the event, should something have gone wrong during it.
